Improving classification for bunker vessels shown on the map

Currently, the “HIGH RESOLUTION” option is not enabled, when a group of boats is selected, both for PRESENCE and EFFORT.

I would like us to consider showing encounters for all vessels. It seems potentially interesting for other use cases than just fishing-related and I don't see any big downsides to not including. I would propose that the default view shows all encounters (regardless of encountered vessel type) for any carrier or bunker vessel, as those are clearly relevant and should have encounters, but that the user could have the option to show all possible vessel class types as well (same as is going to be released in Global reports but I would like to see an option to add ALL possible encounters/class combos). Main reason is if (when) we have an identity mistake, it might not show an important encounter. Eg there is an RFMO-registered bunker in the ETP that has 'other' for AIS identity, and we show no encounters for it (IMO 9221683). It is confusing for a user who has a VOI that is authorized to have encounters, but zero encounters show in the map because we have misclassified that vessel.

Problem : Reporter analyzing vessel activity over extended periods needed voyage duration data but current interface only shows start/end dates, requiring manual calculation for each voyage. With high-activity vessels (example showed large volume in just 1 month), this becomes overwhelming. User Need : Quick access to voyage duration information to calculate metrics like catch rates per day of fishing. Proposed Solutions : Add duration display (hours/days) directly in voyage timeline brackets. Create downloadable voyage summary data including start/end/duration (currently only event downloads available). Make voyage data easily accessible without manual calculation. Considerations : Missing port visit data could lead to overestimated voyage lengths, may need user interpretation caveats.

Problem : User found 17 fishing events within MPAs (in vessel profile > Areas tab) but couldn't easily identify or analyze them due to volume of total fishing events (624 in timeframe). Current workflow requires clicking individual events and redirecting to detailed view. User Need : Efficient way to filter and focus on fishing events within specific areas for targeted analysis. Proposed Solutions : Add area-based filtering functionality to event summaries. Include area information in event download data. Make area event counts (like "17 events") interactive to show/filter those specific events. Improve workflow for area-specific event analysis. Current Limitation : Event downloads include type, start, voyage ID, lat/long but lack area context.

We already have port reports that can be accessed through the port visits layer on the map. Why not make these reports accessible through global reports by making the port names clickable under the " Ports visited after" section.

It would be great if data could be filtered by registry (e.g. WCPFC or FFA) as a filter for time since the last port visit. For example, if you could filter out vessels that say have not visited port in over a year etc.

Being able to see the vessels activity zoomed in on the most recent voyage. For many use cases, the primary interest is what the vessel did in the time between leaving its previous port and arriving to the next port.

I'm working with uploading points (to represent events like gaps, loitering) as user datasets to my workspace to share externally. At the moment the platform recognises the timestamp column to use for time filter, so adjusting the timebar changes what is seen on the map, but we can't see symbols for the event (e.g. circles) in the timebar. Having this option will make it easy to zoom in on the exact day the event happened, for example, or show distribution of events with time at a glance.

Information pop-ups could be mobile because when you analyze the navigation route or you need to make a report, the pop up is displayed on the navigation route and when making a report you have to make cuts in paint or other apps that make the information raise doubts due to the manipulation of the image.
